Tabletop RPG Tarot Cards

Back when I lived in Olympia, my friends and I played a silly murder mystery tabletop RPG game called “Brindlewood Bay” together (think “Murder She Wrote” meets “Cthulu”). You can find out more info here if you’re interested in playing it yourself!

I made customized tarot cards as a fun little momento of our gameplay. Each person played a “little old lady” with their own unique background, tools, and set of skills. My character, Sylvia Oliver, wrote smutty romance novels and owned a sphynx cat (she was originally modeled on legendary fictional romance novelist Salome Otterbourne). You can see her portrayed on the “Fool” card.

I drew them all by hand on paper (this was before I had an iPad Pro, but I still find sketching on paper with pencil the most satisfying!), then scanned, inked, and colored them in Adobe Photoshop. Finally, I had them printed on tarot-sized cards.
